A show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Carousel, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” evokes feelings of comfort and encouragement to its listeners. Renee Flemming performed this song at the Concert of America, marking the first anniversary of 9/11. She also sang it for President Obama’s Inauguration in 2009. It’s also interesting to note that this song has become a sporting anthem for the Liverpool Football Club in the UK. Several recording artists have taken to the studio and stage with this tune including, Mario Lanza, Alicia Keys, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, and The Three Tenors.

“You’ll Never Walk Alone” was not only performed by his beloved teacher, Giorgio Tozzi, the song was also sung by one of the most famous tenors in the world, Mario Lanza. Lanza’s version gives Bradley “goose bumps” and touches his soul, inspiring him to sing every song he chooses with such passion and sincerity.
