Celebration Freedom, 2015

July 4 at 10:30 p.m., I will be singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Kollen Park & Heinz Waterfront Walkway for Holland’s Celebration Freedom. It’s always thrilling to sing for thousands of people and all the while fireworks being displayed above, especially for the line, “And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through night that our flag was still there.”

This day is about celebrating our freedom and independence, which we fought so hard for. Also, it’s about spending time with ones you love; life is too short to forget that. A common phrase used amongst our family is: Food, Family, and Fun! So celebrate well and have a safe and happy 4th! Remember to be different… And true to who you are!
